Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $27/hour (Commensurate with experience)
Bonus: Up to $2500 sign on bonus.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1+ years’ experience in fertilizer and pesticide applications
- Valid pesticide license (required for MA applications)
- Ability to diagnose turf issues and recommend effective solutions
- Expertise in mixing liquid fertilizers and pesticides
- Valid driver’s license and DOT certification (or ability to obtain)
- Insurable under the company’s policy
- Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. without assistance
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting fertilizer and pesticide labels
- Clean criminal record

- Positive, solutions-driven attitude with strong customer service skills
Here is what working as a Lawn Care Technician at Riverside Services will entail:
- Demonstrating your expertise and understanding of all aspects of lawn care management
- Experience applying planting health care treatments, including granular and liquid applications to turf and ornamental plantings
- Safely operating equipment including z-sprayers, push spreaders, sprayers, backpack blowers, trucks, and trailers
- Ordering the materials needed for your job and managing fertilizer inventory
- Completing the necessary paperwork, including keeping records accounting to Massachusetts pesticide laws
- Providing excellent customer service to homeowners, business owners, subcontractors, architects, and more
- A sense of freedom by working with minimal supervision as you are trusted to get the job done right
- Creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere, including keeping the lawn care service vehicle and trailer neat and properly stocked
- Taking pride in keeping the area/site in excellent condition
- Reporting directly to the Lawn Care Manager and eager to learn from them
- Interacting professionally with other employees, including presenting yourself in a professional manner
- Maintaining clear, concise, and punctual reporting of daily work
- Keeping jobs on schedule and on budget
